Converting fractions
Last week I learnt about converting fractions into decimals with Mr Lindsay. We went to his workshop with no knowledge of how to convert fractions into decimals. He showed us a couple of examples on the activeboard. It looked hard at first but once he started explaining it a bit more to us it became easier to understand. Then he sent us off to complete the worksheets we were given. I managed to get through all the questions and get them right. That’s when I felt more comfortable working with these sort of questions and this particular strategy. After we completed our worksheets we had to create a DLO to show our learning. I made a Google drawing, giving an example of the questions we had and explaining what I did to get the quotient. Here is my DLO.
