Moment in time

Last week in Te Ngahere we wrote descriptive piece of writing describing a moment in time.We had to describe a forest using present tense verbs. We were focusing on how to use the correct structure to describe a moment in time.I really enjoyed describing the forest and using new words to describe each paragraph. Next time I could write more in my introduction.

A moment in time:Draft

The sound of old trees creaking , about to break. Staring at the plants covered by the huge bush
, patches of green covering the ground. Stretchy vines swaying above , little pebbles hiding
in between the plants.

Let yourself relax with the breeze of wind rubbing upon your face. Watching the flowers
bloom. Looking at the green leaves dropping on the ground , the season going into autumn.

Feeling the rough moss covering the branches. Touching the spiked trees trying not to get
poked. Stepping on the crispy  leaves , filling your ears with noises. Your nose will be twisted
will all beautiful smells there is to be.

The hot sun beaming on your skin , stinging you softly. Running behind the tall tree sitting
in the shade. Birds chirping their hearts out making a beautiful rhythm. Witness the cheeky
monkeys swing above  , eating there delicious banana.Looking at the bright green paradise
smelling the fresh air.

Not only do forest have live nature , it is a relaxing and calm place to be and chill , also to get
away from your annoying family.
